Calus Technologies respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

When you send an enquiry or request a quote, we collect the details you choose to give us:

• your name and business name
• your email address and telephone number
• the service or package you're interested in and your preferred contact method
• the description of your enquiry, any product requirements and an optional budget range

When you log a support call, we also collect your organisation, the category and subject of your request, your message and any file you choose to attach.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may also record standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the website secure and running.

How we use your information

• to respond to your enquiry and contact you using your preferred method
• to prepare quotations and discuss the services you've asked about
• to respond to and resolve support requests you log
• to filter spam and protect our forms from abuse

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use enquiry details for marketing without your separate consent.

How your information is stored

Enquiries, quote requests and support calls submitted through this website are processed and stored by our website hosting and form provider, Netlify, and delivered to our team by email. Submissions are screened by automated spam filtering. Netlify may process data outside South Africa; we rely on its security measures and contractual commitments to protect your information. We keep enquiry records only for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any resulting work.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You may also object to us processing your information. To make a request, email info@calustech.com or call 010 012 6069. If you are unhappy with how we've handled your information, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
